Biked this trail a few weekends ago and a big thumbs up—very moderate incline all the way up to Bethesda and the trail is a paved 2-way the entire length. Shaded by trees, edged by a few views of the Potomac, great places for food and drink on both ends of the trail, really not much to not like about it.
