Whether you’re heading east or west on I-40 between Kingman and Flagstaff, veer off at the first Seligman exit, drive 1.5 miles, and you will be deposited back on I-40 at the second Seligman exit. Stop at the Road Kill Cafe for kitschy gore-punned menu items (I had the Stack of Flat Cats (tasty pancakes, in reality)). Ogle the odd, sun-bleached mannequin display atop the porch roof of the wild pink building down the street. Boggle that people actually live there and thrive.

A classic of Road Americana. There’s a road rally from Seligman to Oatman on Rte. 66 every year.
