And for heavens sake, try the biscuits with rosemary gravy….they are to die for. over 5 years agoIn a Word, Sensational. by VioletPinkI first heard about this place as a great place to bring your dog. This morning my dad and I visited, and even though I didn’t bring my beagle baby, we had a wonderful time. There was a wait, but it was worth it, and there was plenty of free coffee and tea to keep us warm as we waited. We were seated in the lovely side garden, and I had some ruby chai and the “Tim Curry,” a blend of tofu, avocados, onions, mushrooms and yellow coconut curry over baby spinach, and topped with peanuts and raisins. It was incredible! I usually leave something on my plate, but today I practically licked it clean. The fabulous meal, coupled with their infamous cheese grits, was just the perfect treat for a Saturday morning in Portland. If you’re a Northwesterner who likes the outdoors, meeting friendly people and dogs, and delicious organic foods, you MUST visit the Tin Shed CafĂ©! over 5 years ago |
