Griffith Park

I love this place. It is so close to the big city, but so removed at the same time. There are tons of trails. Not to mention great views. I plan on coming back often. I want to horseback ride there, too. (They have horse rentals and riding lessons.)

I went to Griffith Park last weekend with some friends. We had a picnic lunch near one of the many picnic areas, and then we went over to the old zoo to take some pictures (for a friend to post on his online dating photo.) I have to say, it was a good choice of location to take photos. I’d like to go back sometime and explore the park a little more…it’s so big!

This thread made mention of Griffith Park. Intrigued, I looked it up on the internet. According to the Griffith Park website, it looks like there are lots of fun activities. Good thing I’m moving to L.A., it’ll make it easy to go here.
