Lynn's Paradise Cafe

I’ve always lived in Louisville, and have been to Lynn’s several times. Great food, can be a bit heavy, but in the Highlands there is always something in walking distance if you’re willing (like a ColdStone ice cream franchise a few blocks NE – though I can’t remember the address right now).
Bathrooms are always super clean, though not easy to access when it’s busy especially since I usually go with someone who is in a wheelchair (which is why I can walk from Lynn’s to an ice cream shop without shame – by the time I get there we can order fruit smoothies to eat while waiting for the bus, and I’ve gone calorie-negative). On the plus side, when it’s busy, you don’t have to wait bored. ‘Like Cracker Barrel on pot’ is one accurate description of the gift shop “World of Swirl”.
They have, amoung other things, license plate hadnbags and beer goggles.
Swing by, eat some world famous mac and cheese served by staff whom 90 % of seem to have tattoos and/or dyed hair.
I love this place.

Lynn’s is visually fun and shopping at “World of Swirl” can be hysterical.

I use to go simply to eat the pancake concoction of the day. I had wonderful carrot cake pancakes there once (never caught them on the menu again :-(

It’s harder for me to eat at Lynn’s since I started abstaining from dairy and working to eliminate gluten. The food here is simply good with huge portions (I always plan on it being 2 meals). The service is usually friendly and efficient.

I was kinda hungover when I was there, but that was kinda a given considering I was there for the lebowskifest hangover breakfast. really good french toast, and the ladies room was very clean and freindly.

I was taken here for my birthday. I had seen Lynn’s Paradise Cafe featured on a PBS special about southern biscuits. I’m glad to report that Lynn’s biscuits were delicious!
