This place has great dim sum, and it’s authentic Chinese cuisine. It tends to get quite crowded. I’d recommend calling ahead because the entire place shuts down occasionally when a private party rents it out for a wedding or whatnot. Weekends afternoons are quite crowded. It also can be really full whenever there is a festival in Chinatown.

My friend Kris called because his nana was turning 93 and wanted dim sum. My recommendation? Take nana to Chinatown and take her to China Pearl. You may have to get help with the stairs, but the food is wonderful, the atmosphere friendly and the price is right.
