My grandma lives here, I visit all the time. It is a small town and pretty much without merit. The only thing which would attract me to it is it’s historical nature and the St. Johns River which is a part of the place. Also every year they have the Blue Crab Festival downtown, which is pretty nice, but really Palatka is a nothing more than a small town.
