Gentrification, all the way. Religious Sex closed, even Dojo’s got shut down. You can get all the sushi and piercings you want, of course. And there’s a CBGB’s store (a whole store!). Plus everyone I know has moved out of town. Feh. Go down to the Rivington area instead.

it has a very funky feel to it.

I came close to moving here, and came close to buying a cool skirt here, but did neither in the end.

When I walked down this street yesterday, there were two punk kids playing frisbee in traffic and a kid carrying what could only be a sitar case… I love my nieghborhood!
