Sloppy Joe's

Waitress was kind and cleaned up our spilled drinks.

Music was at a level where it was hard to have a conversation. Trademark Sloppy Joe was about average. The people watching is good at this corner. Service was prompt and effective

A Key West classic. Great merchandise and lots of good times. Always live music playing. Although the original Sloppy Joe’s Bar is around the corner and down the street, this is still a fun place to go and get really drunk and have a terrific time. On New Year’s Eve (been their twice) they drop a giant conch shell from the roof a la NYC.

A documentary on the Travel Channel informed me (after I visited) that Sloppy Joe’s is rumored to be haunted.

I feel in love with it. Very fun place to visit.

This is a great bar. It’s the place where Hemingway used to hang out so you know they can pour a beer. They also serve Key West Sunset Ale – a local brew. I was once in a large group and we got a private room in the upstairs dining room. The only bad thing was when I was 19 the bouncer spotted my fake ID and took it from me. I had to drop him $20 to get it back.
