Museum Of The City Of New York

Made even smaller by their current renovations, but it’s still worth a look.

Once my friend found out it had a glory days of baseball exhibition, he was raring to go. I also saw an exhibition on this local Jewish newspaper. There was an interesting map of New York when it was New Amsterdam.

I was tired and therefore grumpy but tried not to take it out on the museum.

There didn’t seem to be anything on New York before Europeans arrived, I would have been interested in that, and I think it belongs in mainstream/general New York museums, and not just a dedicated museum (I’m not sure if I’ll have time to get to the museum of the native american, but I would like to if I can fit it in).
