Alligator Lake Recreation Area

There are lots of hiking trails, a place for boats to put in, picnic tables, and a big playground area for kids. I’ve kayaked in various parts of the lake and have seen a couple of alligators. The number of different birds that one can see in this place is incredible. There are also several places to fish from on land (like piers and bridges).
