A tip I have about this place  — 1 year ago

    Worth visiting!

The Northend campsites are ideal for families with Children – a short walk to the beautiful swimming beach & rowboat / paddle boat rentals.

We stayed just after Labor Day and it was so quiet we had deer wandering up to our site every morning looking for a handout. Really starts to fill up on weekends though.

    Worth visiting!

Growing up on Orcas I spent countless summer days swimming in Cascade Lake… Swim across to the lagoon or the cliffs on a sunny day…

The primitive campgrounds on the far east (“Mountain Lake”) side are spacious and quiet. Showers are available closer to the populous section near the Northend sites (in the bathrooms; $0.25 for three minutes of gloriously hot water).

The bike ride up Mt. Constitution is “breathtaking” :-)

    Worth visiting!

...I could tell just from the quick swing through that its popularity is well-deserved, and that visiting it just off season—late spring or early fall, say—would be absolutely wonderful. Some great views, good facilities from the looks of them as well. Keep it in mind and just go at the right time to avoid the crowds!
