Worth visiting!

Some people see it as an eyesore and want to get rid of it, others think that to do so would be to dig our heads in the sand about the past. In recent times the local (ACT) government has embraced the place with the federal government (through the National Capital Authority or NCA) has tried to get rid of it.
They keep a fire burning pretty much permanently, and sometimes hold events there.
It’s just across the road from old parliament house – which is in stark contrast as a white, colonial-style building.
Worth checking out to make up your own mind. They welcome visitors so don’t be shy!
