Speyer Cathedral

AMAZING!!!!!!! Beautiful stone work!

Walking up to it from town you don’t really get much of a sense of how massive this place is. That soon changes when you walk inside.

The Christmas musical presentation was preparing while I was in there and it was amazing to hear how well the sound filled the whole building.

The downstairs is where the coffins of the old kings are. It was cool to be in there knwoing that kings of Germany used to be crowned right where I was.

Well worth going to see if you’re in the area.

I’m going to Speyer in December, so I’ll finally get to visit somewhere on my list after the creation of the list. :D

I’m looking forward to it a lot.
