Big ups to the guy who took the nuclear lake pic. that is a great hike and the best thing is you can take the train to the trail head and there are a few leanto’s on the trail to stay in.

Stay out of the lake though, it glows at night ;)

I used to hike sections of the AT when I was living in New York State. One of my favorite sections was the bit that goes by Nuclear Lake (pictured).
