Peter D's Restaurant

I had Sunday breakfast here the last time I was in San Fran. It’s not a foodie SF joint and the menu was great for a diner experience. Nothing fancy, but well-executed blue collar food. But I should also say that it’s not a hip authentic dive joint. It’s really a well-run, clean upscale Denny’s or IHOP diner w/ 70s style in the lobby of a motel on Van Ness. The fancy joints were all clogged up with people so we headed here and I’ll make a point of going to Peter D’s the next time I’m in SF.

It reminds me of what SF may have been like 30 years ago.

P.S. If you’re visiting SF for your first time I really don’t suggest you go here as you’ll likely be disappointed. It’s below average and dismissable by tourist standards.
