Calica

Xcaret! Enough said. This quaint amusement park was one of our excursions on our recent Carnival cruise. We spent the day lazily drifting down the underwater river, eating an authentic mexican lunch, then snorkeling in their snorkel inlet. Oh, and a little shopping. There are some exhibits of local animals including parrots (you GOTTA see the parrots), monkeys, and iguanas living all over the park.

It’s not a disney world or sea world but it is a very safe and exceptionally kept place to visit while in Calica.
