A review of this place

I’ve been there a few times on my way between the islands (you’ve got to go through Picton to catch the interislander ferry), and stayed the night there once at a campground. It’s not a bad place, but I wouldn’t bother going there again if it wasn’t the ferry port. The harbour isn’t that pretty compared to lots of places in NZ, there’s not really any great scenery, and nothing very exciting to see or do in the town itself.
