When the weather is right Mt. Taranaki offers the most amazing views, both of the mountain and from the mountain

I grew up in the province of Taranaki and have just moved back here after spending many years overseas. I’m spending a year on a farm and am greeted by beautiful views of the mountain nearly all day when it’s not covered by clouds.

If you’re visiting New Zealand then make sure you come over to Taranaki. Climbing the mountain takes about 5-7 hours (round-trip) and is something you’ll never forget!
