Lake Taupo

I visited this place on October, 2005, during my vacations in New Zealan. It´s great. This is a photo of a challenging sport that I watched when in there. Amazing !

Taupo is a great place. If I were to live on the North Island of New Zealand this is where I would set up home.

I enjoyed jetskiing on the lake, and hiking up the (thankfully extinct) volcano on the edge of town. Found some really good restaurants, too.

The one bad memory I have of the place is thinking I’d lost my credit card on the third day of a three week trip. Found it later though – had dropped it on the floor of the car (silly arse!).

I jumped to the Lake Taupo with my friend. It was one of the craziest things that I’ve ever done in my life… and I loved it. If there’s a place to die doing bungy, this would be it. :) the sceneries are really breath taking!
