Its also great to visit in the summer as there is a clothes optional section where you can sun bathe and then jump into the river when you get to hot. People are friendly and nude bathing is very relaxing. Nude Beach is about 200m from main carprk, I highly recomend a visit.

Only 5-10 minutes drive from the south western suburbs of Canberra, this waterhole in the Murrumbidgee river feels like it’s hours away from the city. A great place to cool down in the summer, or go for walks at other times. A little murky when the water is low, but good for a free swim surrounded by mountains.
