OMG, I forgot all about this place til I saw it on the website and recalled going there when I was 20, over 16 years ago. It was my first trip to the USA and as I had relations there, it was one of the places they arranged with their friends to take me. I recently returned from Colorado Springs after having travelled via amtrak across the states and upto Vancouver. I completely forgot about this place, but am so pleased that I recognised it when I saw the pages.. I loved the cheesy factor of the singalongs, the baked beans were smoked really nicely and the gun fights a riot. Hell, I’m not used to seeing these things, loved it … brings back some great memories of my ‘inquistive ‘wonder years’ type memories

The Flying W Ranch is a working, mountain cattle ranch located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, that has specialized in western food and entertainment since 1953. In our high season we entertain and serve dinner to over a thousand persons nightly.

The Flying W has a winning combination of beautiful natural surroundings, an authentic old western town and mouth-watering food.

If you like rustic  — 2 years ago

It was many years ago and a lot of fun then. I think I prefer fancy “tea shops” now, though.

If you like rustic (and “camp”) you will like it though.
