Spuyten Duyvil

I took Metro North to a friend’s house yesterday and rode through this neighborhood and Riverdale. The train runs right along the Hudson here, so while I never saw the neighborhood itself, I got a great view of the silver river and the rich forests of the Palisades. It didn’t feel like I was in the Bronx at all…

If you’re taking the train, sit on the East side going North and you’ll have a wonderful view…
