Why I recommend this place to visitors  — 4 months ago

Worth visiting!

This is a wonderful spot for knitters and food lovers alike. They have extremely good pastries and cupcakes, and the quiche is probably the best I have ever had. Beyond that they have an outstanding selection for us knitting (and crochet) fanatics, of yarns, patterns, books and supplies etc.

The staff is always helpful and friendly, and a long list of classes will help everyone from beginners to long time knitters,
Highly recommend to bot locals and tourists, join me in hanging out on a cool place and kit away :-)

Worth visiting!

My husband and I had been invited to the Tuesday night S&B. Lovely people. Beautiful shop. I still have much yarn lust in my heart for the shiny hand dyed yarn in the left-hand back corner as you walk in.
Alas…moved on to another assignment before I could get a project worthy of such great yarn!

A tip I have about this place  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

My regular Stitch and Bitch is held at The Point on Tuesdays, but there’s always someone around on evenings and weekends. It’s a good place to hang out and meet other knitters and crocheters. There’s plenty of space in the cafe, the food is good—they have snacks, sodas, salads and quiche. The store is clean and well-lit and they have a good selection of yarns, books, buttons and needles. The employees are always friendly and helpful. They also offer interesting classes and events with local knitting pros like Wendy of wendyknits and Nicky Epstein.
