Work is well underway on the redevelopment of High Wycombe town centre. This project is the fourth largest of its kind currently in progress in the UK. Eden, High Wycombe will provide 850,000 sq.ft. of floor space including:
a 141,500 sq.ft. House of Fraser department store
a 104,000 sq.ft. Marks & Spencer store
54 new retail units
a new Civic Square
restaurants, cafes and leisure opportunities
apartments
a new library
a new bus passenger interchange
The scheme will put High Wycombe into the top 50 shopping destinations in the UK.
A refurbishment of the current Octagon Centre will enhance the shopping experience in town. The Octagon will be fully integrated into the finished scheme.

Background to Eden, High Wycombe
Eden, High Wycombe is being developed in partnership with Multiplex Developments and Aldergate Investments. Plans were originally considered in 2003, then reformulated and enhanced in 2005 as adjacent sites became available, enabling a second major store to be incorporated into the scheme.
