I’ve gone here to get tickets for both the Broadway shows I’ve gone too.
Cheaper prices and you can even get them the day of the show.

I talked to the other people in the queue, sharing stories about what was worth going to and laughing as the man behind me told the guy advertising shows that ‘david schwimmer is a prick so i probably won’t like it’, and got tickets to exactly what i wanted to see at half price (US$50 a ticket instead of US$100 a ticket). They have an electronic board up that tells you which shows they are selling tickets for, how much the discount is, and what time they are on. Very useful! And it’s right in the middle of broadway/times square, so you can make it a part of your day there. over 7 years agoUntitled by Mary HawkinsThe TKTS booth is THE best place to look for last-minute discount tickets to Broadway and off-Broadway shows. Don’t expect to get tickets to the hot new shows, although many of them have insider lists and last minute tickets on their own. You get your pick of whatever they have, so come knowing a handful of shows you’re interested in seeing or be prepared to gamble on a show by title alone. Prices are range between 25% to 50% below the list price, and you don’t get charged those insane tourist markups. Expect long lines, especially in high tourist season, and bring cash or traveller’s checks. You can buy tickets up until the shows open for the night, so this is a great way to go see something on a whim. Here’s their website: |
