Tom's Diner aka: Tom’s Restaurant

first of all, it looks nothing like the way it does on seinfield once you get inside. it has failed several health inspections and the food is sub-par. its only redeeming quality is its storefront which provides seinfield fanatics the photo-op.

This diner has been made famous by Seinfeld and the Suzanne Vega song, but it is always packed full of Columbia kids and has good-but-average diner food. It’s worth popping around the corner from the cathedral to see it, but I’d have a snack at the pastry shop down the street instead…
