Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

Get various edible goods at Pike Place Market. If it’s a drizzly and/or brisk day, go to this viewing area to look over Elliott Bay so you can see the ferries, Alki Point, Bainbridge Island, and - if it’s clear enough - the Olympic Mountains, while you enjoy your food. There are tall chairs there with a viewing counter, and it’s rarely crowded in here.

Price of admission: zilch. Views: excellent.

(On a nicer weather day, I do recommend going to the park north of the market instead, as you can walk over to the ledge and see downtown and Mt. Rainier over the top of the viaduct as well—but it’s not always a super nice weather day.)
