Bridgton

I lived in Bridgton for a year while attending massage therapy school. Bridgton is a small, friendly, affordable town in the lakes region of Maine. It has a great health food store, independent book store, and more recently a coffee house with live entertainment (although that opened up after my departure, so I can’t really comment on it). There is lots of outdoor recreation opportunities such as downhill and cross-country skiing, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, and snowmobiling. I enjoyed living in Bridgton, and might have remained had there been more employment opportunities. In any case, it’s a nice place to visit.
