Incheon Airport

you kind of HAVE TO visit here if you want to or not if you are coming to Korea.

Way cleaner and polite than any other airport I’ve been to. And I love those duty frees!

The flight attendants kept mistaking me for a native.

But whoa, I kinda blew my money on those countless duty free shops. :) I’m a ditz like that.

My flight from China to the States was delayed and I ended up getting in a nasty argument with the manager of the airline I was flying with because the delay from China had caused me to miss my flight to the States. That meant a 15 hour lay over in the airport with no extra money or place to rest. The airline could’ve put me up or given me some food coupons for the trouble they caused me. Incidently, I also missed my connecting flight in the States to Minneapolis with another airline and ended up having to buy another ticket. I’m biased, I know. I’ll always have negative outlook of Incheon airport because of that airline – not their fault I know, but 15 hours is a long time in an airline waiting area when you’re still a 20 hour flight from home.

Not too bad in general. The only drawback is that they try to gouge people who want to buy American magazines. When I worked out the exchange rate, they were trying to charge $11 for a Sporting News. I understand it costs money to import them in, but this is ridiculous.
