Medina

Bicycling the Gold Coast is generally pleasant. Traffic is low. The only folks you’ll see on the street are home improvement or gardening staff, hard at work.

The beach park in Medina is not as heavily used as some others on Lake Washington, and it’s always nice to plunge into the cold waters of the lake on a hot sunny day.

I tried going up to the imposing gatehouse as well. I was with my house painting friend trying to get painting leads. There was this dude at the gatehouse taking pictures of us and he didn’t say a word to my friend. I guess they didn’t want a paint job.

Not worth visiting unless you want to drive up to Bill Gates’s very imposing gatehouse. Which I’ve done. ;)
