Kansas City Zoo

Recent renovations are really improving this zoo. The railway still runs, and the new Africa exhibit is awesome! I saw a rhino pee… you do not want to be behind one of those when that happens… and a wooden walkway was built alongside those open fields that brought us more eye-level with the giraffes. They did a great job with using natural barriers on that particular exhibit. Parts of the zoo are still not in use with abandoned buildings, but I believe those will be renovated soon as well.

wear comfy shoes and bring lots of water.

I guess they have improved it… I’ll never find out. The Zoo at Omaha was great though!
