It is a scenic island. However, at least on a tour, the experience is boring and not worth the time and potentially unpleasant boat ride. I saw nothing interesting or unique about the people at Taquile.

The language spoken there by Blue_Bird

The local people are still speaking quechua….the language of the Incas.

If you go there it’s nice to learn a few words of quechua…the locals did seem very happy when I told them hello in their own language
