Idaho Springs

Beau Jo’s is the best pizza I’ve ever had – and the Celtic Shoppe on the main road is a wonderful little place – we go to both every time we get to Idaho Springs. It’s just a small mountain town but it’s quite lovely – we prefer going in spring and fall, summer there are too many tourists and winter there are too many skiers…

I went to Indian Springs and spent the day in cheap luxury, then stopped by the river than runs through town and stuck my feet in the water. I called my family to tell them about how unimaginably beautiful the place was. I felt like I was in an old west town. I want to live there some day.

Mountain town good for a pass through but nothing much else to do…..

If you go to Idaho Springs, try to get to Beau Jo’s! They have really really really good food, and a mostly friendly wait-staff in a great old building. My mouth is watering just thinking of it . . .
