The first time I went to this place  — 7 months ago

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place was with my little sister N back in the 1970’s. It was a quaint village of shops and restaurants, along the Delaware river, north of “Washington’s Crossing” ... the place along the Delaware river where George Washington crossed the river with his army in small boats. They should have used the bridge I saw there. Anyway, it’s a very cute town. A bit too fru-fru for most men, so it worked fine for me.

Worth visiting!

I loved living in New Hope. The old cemetaries with their slate tombstones, the woods, all of that green. So calm. Quiet. Charming. Downtown is adorable. I could eat it like a cookie.

New Hope is a wonderfully peaceful and serene places. Spend a relaxing day just meandering about. There are a lot of great shops and restaurants to visit.

Worth visiting!

It’s a great town to walk around and explore all the shops. Very artsy feel and some very unique items to be found.

Worth visiting!

New Hope is a wishy-washy place. Sometimes I spend a day there and feel like I was stuck in an outside glorified mall. Other days I’ll find a shop hidden somewhere in an alley or see something unique that has made the trip worth my while. One thing New Hope always is is different.

New Hope has gone downhill the last few years  — 2 years ago

Worth visiting!

but it’s still got its charm. Now and Then records seems to have disappeared, but Love Saves the Day (complete with “LSD Sold Here” sign in the window) is still alive and well.

There isn’t much else to do in New Hope but to explore the different shops , get various body parts pierced, and eat bizarre, overpriced food, but the town holds good memories for me so I guess I’m a little biased.
