Worth visiting!

I used to go camping there every year as a kid at a place called North Head, where you saw kangaroos, possums and goannas. It has a great beach with rock pools (one so big we used to snorkel in it). We used to go to the beach for a few hours to swim and explore, then come back to the campsite to cook jaffles (toasted cheese sandwiches) on the fire. We would throw seaweed on the fire that used to explode when the parents were cooking for a laugh. Each easter we would have easter egg hunts with clues that our parents wrote for us… so many memories :D

I have been back recently to pretty beach and pebbly beach near the murramarang resort. they are also very nice and we saw tonnes of kangaroos walking there.

Worth visiting!

I was recently on an end of season cricket trip to the beach resort near Durras in the national park.

Lots of wild life, kangaroos that are friendly enough to approach you, can handle being petted, and lots of possums :-)

Beautiful beach area, Bateman’s Bay is a short drive away.
