Cool Building, Great Food! by asinaustin

Recognized as historical building in Austin,Texas, Jaime’s Spanish Village restaurant & bar has been around since 1931 serving generations of patrons hungry for great Tex-Mex food in Austin, Texas. I personally love, love, love their verde sauce on some chicken enchiladas. They’ve got some rockin’ margaritas (love the peach), their queso is always good, and their salsa hot!

Sad time for this place... by Kanard

…and for my Family.

Jaime (my uncle) passed away yesterday, in his ranch, alone, and was found by his wife (my Aunt) probably a few hours of this, they don’t know yet what happened but they suspect a heart attack.

The news came so sudden and unexpected.

It is a shame the future clients of his restaurant won’t get to meet him, he was an amazing person.

People say that every time someone dies, but it is true, and he left an little bit of himself in the heart of every person he met and every animal he cared for.

I love you uncle, and I’ll miss you always.

Family owned,

The owner is my uncle and he works at the bar, he is really nice.

They serve Tex-Mex

It is a great hang out for Austin students, families …well anyone really.

They are friendly and have good service.

They have been there since the 1930’s… it has a Spain flare to it.

My uncle invented their trademark “Margarita Jaime”, try it if you go it is really good.

They sell candy hand made by my aunt, and cool T-shirts.

I recommend 100% percent

if you go give a hug to my aunt and uncle from me, please????
