I ended up staying in Zandvoort because I was visiting Holland during the 2000 Europa Cup Championship. All of the hotels in and around Amsterdam were full, so I opted to stay in Zandvoort.

It’s a very nice smaller town on the coast. I stayed in a small hotel. I enjoyed watching voetbal with him on TV. We wandered through the town a little bit. It was very quiet (this was June). I had expected it to be crawling with people.

I enjoyed my stay here.
