Worth visiting!
What a view!
You have a panoramic view of the Magic Kingdom and lots more. They say this is the best place to see the nightly fireworks.
Our waiter was excellent and helpful (and originally from near where we are from in New England). He brought us 3 tastes of different wines to help us choose what to drink. The 6 of us shared the heirloom tomato flatbread with roasted garlic, provolone, and arugula and a Double-Crunch Rainbow sushi roll of cobia, salmon, tuna, tempura crunch and tobikko.
I had 2 items off the first course menu as my main: the Sonoma goat cheese ravioli and rabbit with carmelized fennel and crispy panisse. Both were fantastic, but could not compare to the signature grilled pork tenderloin with polenta and button mushrooms. Other entrees at the table included lamb with eggplant 2 ways and the whole wheat pasta stuffed with wild mushrooms, black truffles, spinach, fontina and porcini-celery broth. I had a little taste of it all.
For dessert we shared The California Grill’s legendary butterscotch creme brulee with a duo of banana cakes, and caramelized bananas and the warm chocolate cake with molten center.
