Fort Pulaski National Monument

Going to Fort Polaski, I felt as if I’d stepped right into the past.

It’s so amazing to me the amount of detail in engineering that went into this place. I can’t even explain the affect it had on me. The perspective you get standing next to a cannon looking out toward the sea is somehow surreal. It’s a feeling I will never forget.

i could have stayed there all day.

Awesome old fort. I guess I love it cuse I’ve been there after hours.. it’s creepy and desolate.
