Fort Worth
Worth visiting!
The first time I went to this place
I was so overwhelmed by it’s beauty. It’s tucked into a quaint little neighborhood at White Rock Lake. The different gardens were so appealing and relaxing. We spent 5 hours there and felt like we’d gone to a day spa when we left!
Take your camera; it’s a great place to do macro shots of flora. You’re encouraged to bring a picnic lunch, and bringing water is recommended. It can get really hot in there (soft drinks are $2.50)! Also make sure to take the free tours of the Camp House and the DeGolyer home. Absolutely fascinating! The tour guides absolutely love what they do and it shows.
I would like to go again and dedicate more time to just relaxing there…fantastic place!

The last time I went to this place
My girlfriend and I went here for our one year anniversary, we had a picnic lunch in the lovely Pecan Grove and wandered the grounds for a while afterward. Beautiful.

A review of this place: AWESOME!
This place is more than a pretty garden, it is a living flower and plant museum trough out the year, they also have activities for children, and grown ups, they have amazing events, and it is a perfect place to have pictures taken, a lot of brides take their pictures there…
Whether you want to visit for a while or go and enjoy a cup of coffee on a pretty garden, or go to have a splash at the frog fountain, or a picnic, a romantic afternoon or a time of inspiration, this is the place for you!!
