Detroit City Airport

I was still smoking and when we landed I had been 19 hours without a single cigarette, so already standing on the tarmaque I tried to light a smoke and was abruptly stopped by a fat policewomen with a heavy Colt 45 hanging on her hip. She made me an advice to wait another minute or two and smoke inside the airport. Inside the airport I was confronted with the imigartion officer respectively the queue before I could pass that annoying obstacle to get a smoke. Finally I came into the main transit areas and realized also here was smoking prohibited. So what to do? ! stay on the electrical walking runways and give a damn about everybody shouting and pointing at you gliding by.Two and a half hours later just 20 minuttes before boarding a connection flight to San Diego a friendly elderly lady told me that there in fact was 1 tiny coffeshop were it was still alowed to smoke. Bizar experience. I will never endure this hardship again. Why. Well I’ve givin’ that bad habbit up.
