What I would recommend seeing on the island: by T

La Sainte Chapelle
Place Dauphine – really peaceful and quiet, probably because its entrance from Pont Neuf is very easy to miss.
The triangle of garden below Pont Neuf, especially in summer. Can’t remember what it’s called.
Mémorial des Martyrs de la Déportation.

And Notre Dame if you have time.

Don't miss one of the last flower markets in Paris.. by Ursula Haigh

We went to the Marche aux Fleurs et Oiseaux-an open air flower & bird market- early on a Sunday morning. It was wonderful walking through the farmers stalls admiring the goergeous blooms! It was surprising to hear all of the birds chirping & singing in the city, but the island is so quiet!This was a memorable highlight from Paris.
