A tip I have about this place

Bring $1 for your one-day membership fee. Once you pay that (on Fridays only and only in the fall/winter) you can sit down and order a fine Polish meal. The food is prepared kind of basement church style, which makes it all the better. The bar serves fine Polish liquors and beer. I ordered the Polish Platter and loved it.

This is truly a great dining experience if you’re into the beautiful amateur experience.

A tip I have about this place

dom polski is great polish food with a great vibe. normally they do dinners on fridays after 7pm. you can pay a $1 temporary membership and you’re in. the bar is beautiful [along with all the standard items, it’s stocked with lots of polish beers and a couple of the more popular polish vodkas] and the food is just as it should be – terribly filling and tasty. perfect pierogis, tons of cabbage and menus in both polish and english. they even serve golonka – which i won’t explain, but if you’re not timid about pork you should try it.
we learned that last night was the last friday night dinner for the summer. they will resume in september. however, we did see that they are doing sunday afternoon meals. 1-4 pm. not sure if that is also part of the summer closure…
