Cloud Gate Sculpture aka: The Bean

My Boyfriend loves the Bean! :-) We have to visit it when we are in Chicago.

The cloud gate sculpture was under repairs, but I took a reflection of myself nonetheless ;)

I sail right out of Monroe harbor – visit there many times over the summer. Bring a swimsuit, splash around in the fountain. Stop and listen to a concert, have lunch – Chicago in the summer is not to be missed!

I was stopping over at the train station for a few hours and was able to stop by. Was only able to spend a few minutes here. I definitely want to go back and spend hours playing around. If you go, don’t forget to go underneath and look up.

It makes me smile. I love the Cloud Gate.

It’s so happy and shiny and covered in birdie doo doo. It’s Chicago through and through. I tip my DETROIT TIGERS hat to you, Bean!
