California ScienCenter
I wanted to go to the California ScienCenter when the Star Wars exhibit was there, but I missed it. I ended up going there though about a month ago because I wanted to see the Rose Garden at Exposition Park and the ScienCenter is right next to it. The museum had a lot of hands-on activities/experiments and it was kind of similar to the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center. One of the exhibits that I saw there was called “Goosebumps!: The Science of Fear.” It had several sections where people can face and conquer their fears. Right next to the California ScienCenter is another building that has the air and space exhibits.

Why I recommend this place to visitors
I’m not a museum person, but I liked a few parts of this science museum. There is a section on earthquakes where you can go into this mini theatre and experience the shaking of one. I liked playing virtual volleyball, and I liked the hovercraft simulator. The museum is really kid-friendly, with lots of hands-on activities and exhibits. Admission is free, which is a bonus. (Donations are recommended at the entrance.) The only drawback to the free admission part is that entrance to some areas of the place require that you pay fees. But it’s not bad for something free.
