Witch Dungeon Museum

The Dungeon was creepy & it was frigid, even sleeting outside but you MUST go see the original beam from the dungeon, too cool!

I got this place confused with Salem Witch Museum, which is a different place. Both have their good points. This one includes a brief reenactment of a witch trial in a period-looking meetinghouse theater, followed by a tour through a wax museum of a witches’ prison. Witch Museum has a grander presentation, but also includes a lot of hype, which this one doesn’t (not too much). I was worried I hadn’t picked the “scary one” for the kids, though the dark corridors of the dungeon were reasonably scary enough.
