It’s impossible to live in Makati and not visit this little pocket of the city.
- Stay at Intercontinental Hotel, Dusit Hotel and New World Hotel
- Watch films at Glorietta 4, Glorietta 1 (for the jolog-inclined), Greenbelt 3 (slighly pricey tickets) and Greenbelt 1 (if you hate the crowd)
- Watch stage plays by Repertory Philippines at Greenbelt 1
- Enjoy coffee at any Starbucks, Seattle’s Best, CBTL or Segafredo (GB3)
- Shop for bargains at Goldcrest or Landmark or SM
- Enjoy the bars scattered at Greenbelt 3
- Shop for electronics at Greenbelt 4 or 5 (wouldn’t recommend this as prices are way lower somewhere else, like Singapore, HK or the States)
- Hangout for hours reading books and magazines at Powerbooks Live! my favorite spot in all of Ayala Center
