The food is excellent although very short on options for vegetarians. We sated ourselves on starters and salads and gelato.

The place is comfortable and friendly. We were seated next to the play area, however, which made us feel as though we were dining at a preschool with uncommonly good food. Our kids were a bit old for the play area scene (ages 5.5 & 7.7) so it was wasted on us. Next time I’d ask to be seated near the front of the restaurant.

A long-overdue review by Luna

Vios’ excellent Greek cuisine with its casual atmosphere makes it an extraordinary place to lunch and dine. In fact, the majority of their customers are regulars. New customers come in all the time, and then they become regulars ;)

Their menu is concise with succulent specials. My absolute preferred dish is the Orzo Salad, hands down… I cannot have enough of it…

Yet, I often order tzatziki, hommus, souvlaki, the rustic baguettes (particularly the Albacore tuna!! —oh, so good), the meze plate (includes a skewer and two sides), Greek salad, pastitsio, loukanika, pork tenderloin… ooo, I think I can go all over their menu!!

And then, for dessert, there’s baklava

…and Galaktoboureko and gelato and espresso and latte

Just look at the foam!!

Being Vios one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle —if not MY favorite one—, it’s no wonder I’m a regular here. I highly recommend it :)

great place by johnc2000

wonderful food and warm, casual atmosphere. It can get crowded so avoid the peak lunch and dinner hours (try to get there a little earlier or later than normal). They are expanding the kitchen and renovating so the timing and consistency of food/service will be improving in when they are done in late July. Expecially good for families with kids (they have a nice playarea). But if you don’t like kids, they can get distracting… Depends on your vibe and the timing. But either way, a superb venue!
