Really outstanding food (with a predominantly Ethiopian influence), warm, friendly staff, and pretty accessible prices. Friendly, unpretentious, good — like eating at an old friend’s home.

The first time I went to this place was for my 25th birthday dinner. The atmosphere was fabulous, the food was delicious, the staff was stupendous. I highly recommend the Pan-African Cafe.

Amazing food by mollypitcher

This place has great food and the service was good, too. All the vegetarian options are vegan—which is about a third of the menu. It was some of the best Ethiopian food I’ve had, and likewise with the ground nut stew. It is surely worth a visit.

Really yummy. by maozed

My boyfriend and I went here not too long ago and the food was great. I had some kind of curried corn dish that was amazing. My boyfriend had the standard vegetarian combo. Both were really good. The waiter was friendly and attentive. The only down side was that they were doing construction so there were really loud hammering and sawing noises. The waiter did warn us about this when we entered though, and he apologized for it. The food made up for any annoyance caused by the loud construction. I’m looking forward to going back.
